Handmade With Love
The process starts with a simple idea and inspiration. Then it is created by hand on the pottery wheel. Once it’s leather hard, it can be trimmed. It enters the drying stage and can be hand painted + under glazed soon after, then glazed again. Each piece goes through a bisque and glaze firing before it’s ready to use!
Small Batch
Although pieces may look the same, they have their own variation in size and color. I do accept custom orders if you are looking for something specific or personalized.
The Meaning of Astr
Astr is shortened from Astro. It is the Greek root meaning “star; heavenly body; outer space.” Since losing my soul dog, I’ve decided to honor his spirit by sitting on his favorite chair and creating ceramic pieces. He is my heart, my soul, and my shining star.
